I was alerted by a client last night by a strange problem with Microsoft Outlook 2019, where incoming emails were only visible one line at a time. If you deleted the line you got the next etc. As a workaround, I suggested using OWA webmail as it was Exchange based email.
It turns out this was a faulty update that Microsoft had pushed out world wide, affecting Microsoft 365 and stand alone Office 2019. They must have worked fast to fix it because by this morning when I manually updated Outlook, it downloaded a fix.

This is not the first time that Microsoft have issued faulty updates but it is very strange to me that this could happen on such a scale, and must have caused considerable disruption for the many businesses and organisations that depend on Outlook.
